About Us

Our story

Purerock started from a simple frustration: almost every article about shilajit online was written by someone selling it. Dosage advice came wrapped around a "buy now" button. Purity warnings stopped short of naming the products that failed them. We wanted a place that could say the inconvenient thing — "this claim can't be verified from a label" — without a commercial reason to soften it.

Who we are

Purerock is edited by a small, independent editorial team. We are not a supplement brand, we do not manufacture or resell shilajit, and no author on this site earns a commission from anything we write about. You can read more about how the site is run on our team page.

What we do

We publish in-depth, evidence-first guides on shilajit: how to spot fake resin, commonly cited dosage ranges, how capsules and gummies compare to raw resin, what to check before buying, and where the safety evidence is thin. Every guide separates what's known, what's claimed by sellers, and what genuinely can't be verified from a label — and says so plainly.

Why you can trust what's here

There is no store on this site, no affiliate program, and no sponsored placement. That's a deliberate constraint, not a missing feature: it's what lets us flag a purity claim as unverifiable even when a "yes, it's pure" answer would read better. Editorial standards for how we source and fact-check claims are documented on our editorial guidelines page.
